My water pressure dropped overnight in winter. What should I check first?
Shut the pump off before anything else. Then look for ice, frost, or standing water at the well house, the pressure tank, and any exposed pipe along the run. Running a pump against a frozen break wastes the well and burns out motors, so leave it off until the split has been located.
